Color combination for house Priscilla Rieves began giving her husband, Mark, decorating advice prior to they were even courting. When he purchased his 1921 bungalow in Dallas' Vickery Place, a historic neighborhood, he'd ask coworkers for adorning ideas. "Priscilla worked in the place of business with me, & she never prompt me unsuitable," he says. When Mark proposed, Priscilla says the first phrases out of her mouth have been, "Oh, great! I've always wanted to decorate your house.
" Mark took this as a positive sign, & the couple briefly merged families. In the 13 years due to the fact that their marriage ceremony, the Rieveses have delivered separate visitor quarters over their garage, renovated the eating place & kitchen, built a master rest room and walk-in closet, & constructed a big coated back porch. The couple worked in combination at the layout of the house and consulted local architect Daron Tapscott, who makes a speciality of renovations of older houses. Today it's a harmonious combine , with modern improvements & colourful appeal.
